Fashion week wouldn’t be complete without a large helping of Olivia Palermo. From New York to Paris, Miss P has made her mark of the Frow with a series of effortlessly stylish outfits. On a personal level she is the one person I look to for outfit inspiration – mixing high and low to perfection and working key pieces again and again. Which leads me to this rather long but fabulous post about Olivia’s fashion week wardrobe.
The little black jacket is Olivia’s staple and I like how she’s created two very different looks with this feathered design. The first outing of this Emporio Armarni jacket was at the Marchesa where she teamed it with a gorgeous white mini. The second look was at the Topshop Unique show where Olivia teamed it with a sunshine yellow top and floral Topshop trousers – see what I mean about her ability to mix high and low.
I’ve been seen searching for the past twenty minutes as to wear this wine suede tote bag is from and I can’t locate it to any designer. A lot of blog posts are putting it as vintage but thats what stylists say when they don’t know where its come from! Despite this Olivia obviously loves it, carrying it throughout the past four weeks. The Zara belted coat has made its way out of the wardrobe once again, along with Miss P’s fringed Christian Louboutin boots – see below. I actually prefer this colour red when teamed with khaki and taupe like Olivia did at the Alexandre Birman party.
I mentioned Olivia’s love affair with her fringed Louboutin boots – well here’s some more proof. Wearing them throughout LFW the model created some very different looks – first up at Pringle of Scotland when all black complete with fur stole created an extremley chic finish. Olivia went for a more grungier look at the Matthew Williamson show with her trusted black gilet worn under a leopard print Tibi coat. If you look closely through this post you’ll spot various pieces cropping up more than once, like the khaki trousers below and above and the black fur gilet worn in a variety of ways.
